  • Ogl&D3d games only 60hz in Win2k?

    You're not alone, i've got the same problem but only for the OpenGL games, under Direct3D the refresh rate is 75hz...
    Sorry but actually i haven't the solution.

    And 75hz is too low too

    want 85Hz at all resolutions... ah well... just have to wait for the final drivers i guess.

      Ogl&D3d games only 60hz in Win2k?

      Any way to change the refreshrates of Open GL and Direct3D games in Win2k? been using the 2 newest betas and all i get from 800x600>> is 60Hz.

      Desktop works fine, 85Hz at all res.
      and the right monitor is selected... any ideas?

        You can change the DirectX refresh rate in DXDiag (run dxdiag.exe). There is a More Help - Override Refresh or something like that.

        You can set the refresh rate in Q3 with r_displayRefresh. So for example create an autoexec.cfg in your baseq3 dir and put the following line inside:
        seta r_displayRefresh "85"
