I know I'll be ordering direct from Matrox once the G800(or whatever it's called) is announced. G400Max kicks ass, and even with the competition, Matrox DOES provide the best image quality and features available. I don't think we will see bump mapping in any other brand of vid card for a while since that would only help Matrox, who had it first.

ya...definately a good thing ordering direct from matrox.

Reasons:

1. You know you won't get robbed (literally not price wise).
2. You will get quick shipping (not good shipping though, the box mine came in was all beat up and bent...and the g400max box was a little bent too but everything inside was fine. I attribute that to shiTty shippers not matrox!)
3. You will get it earlier than resellers will therefore increasing longevity.
4. 0% restocking fee.
5. Nice and understanding Customer Service Rep.'s.
