DVD max and media player 6.4

IN english win98 se i was able to play a movie w/ media player while its minimized at the taskbar, and actually see the movie full screen in my tv, using dvd max, but when i changed os to win98 japanese..and do the same thing, the picture pauses ,but there is sound in the tv. And when i bring media player back to the desktop, the movie starts moving again. why??

i have this problem alos
well problem--- seems more like an inconveniance
I am running WIN98 SE -English though so im suprised to here that it worked fine for you before????

anyone have a fix?
