G44-Dbl.Monitor + TV

I have a double monitor config and want change between 2 Monitor and 1 Monitor+TV.
1) Is it possible without changing the cables by using a Sub-D-Doubler (Adapter)?

2) Does it need a restart everytime (WIN 98) I change from DVD-max to Dual-Head-Multi-Monitor ?

I have no free PCI or AGP-Slot left open.

No. You need to power down and switch cables between the modes. They are pinned slightly differently, and the G400 uses that difference to detect the TV on bootup.

You also need to change the second head's properties from whatever monitor to TV (or back) in the display properties.

You could use a switchbox, rather than always swapping cables, but you would still need to power down to switch between modes...
