Fast running out of "this week". Did Matrox actually say this, or is it simply speculation ( not that it makes any difference )?

This might be a stupid question but are the win2k drivers optimized for K6-X and Athlon?

What are you smoking APV? I assume you are referring to the hold down the left shift key and sticky keys pops up? If it's that you are referring to then it doesn't pop up until you press the left shift key 5 times in a row. There is a little check box that lets you turn it off.

                Pit,

Try to play Rogue Spear with W2K and you will know what sticky mouse+key meant.

A new keyboard won't fix it. btw the sticky key problem is quite well known in rogue spear, w2k and this forum.

                  mj 12,

I am not smoking anything, if you haven't play rogue spear with W2k, you won't know the problem, it is quite well known and have been dicussed in Rogue spear , w2k and this forum. Even Westwood knew the problem and related it to directx.

from yours and pit's reply, i am quite sure you 2 never played Rogue Spear under W2k.

This problem in Rogue Spear also shows up in Win98 with USB keyboards. Generally, letting off the movement key and hitting it again will stop the stick.

Also, if you lose your action/manipulate keys try hitting the CTRL HIFT and ALT keys. It "jiggles the handle" digitally speaking and returns the keyboard controls. I've only personally seen this problem with USB keyboards (BTC, Belkin and Microsoft are three I've seen it on).

The MS Sticky-Keys shortcut (5 shifts) is easily disabled. And the Rogue Spear, et al problem isn't just Win2k, so...
