I recently upgraded my PC to an Athlon 600 with a Microstar K7 Pro motherboard. I have been having lock-up problems with Quake3 (only game I play right now) and Sound Forge 4.5. I am using the AGP drivers from AMD's website, and the G400 is not sharing an IRQ. I have 128MB of RAM. I tried setting the AGP mode to 1x, and that (somewhat) works for Quake3, but when I rebooted my pc, I just get a screen of white lines when the desktop tries to come up. So I had to set it back. And in Sound Forge, whenever I scroll through a wave pattern fast, it freezes up. I have e-mailed MSI, but have not yet received a reply. I have had problems like this with my previous motherboard (Ali chipset), and they were resolved with AGP driver updates. Is there any suggestions for my current configuration?
