Feature wish list for G800 based card

I was just wondering what sort of features people are interested in Matrox providing on their next gen graphics cards

I am very disapointed that the G400MAX does not allow for colour calibration on both monitors and I really hope they do it on their next card

What else do other people want?

Hardware EMBM with T&L would be super cool and not to mention high res Anti-aliasing. That should cover almost everything.

Full register level specifications. (This seems rather likely. The G400 specs were released at about the same time as the card itself. Yay!)

It would be very nice if they would include information about the microcode format this time though. (Assuming they have user changeable microcode that is.)

I'd sure like to see some voxel acceleration. Ever looked at Delta Force2? NEVER have I seen such a detailed and beatiful landscape in a game. You can see little stones at your feet, which actually have hight to. Not fake, like bumpmapping, no, the real deal. But it's rather slow... could use some hardware to get the speed right and get even more detail in it.

It may sound crazy but I'd like to see hardware monitoring on the G800 or G450 for that matter, both chip temperature and fan speed.

Yeah, Hardware Voxels = the future of graphics... if matrox was the first one to set the standard for this, they would do us all a great favor AND make lots of money (they could have done thesame with OpenGL, if tathey made that right from the beginning, they would have beaten the TNT2U too...)

Good texture compression and anti aliasing, and speed that could do 1024x768 with all the features enabled.

Don´t you guys find strange the rumor going on of the dual chip solution to reach 800MP fillrate?
i don´t believe Matrox would build a chip with only 2 pixel pipelines (x 2 chips) working at 200mhz each. But why build 2 chips with 4 pixel pipelines each running at a miserable 100mhz. What do you think of this?

How about a total DVD solution, full decoder, dedicated TV out, AC3 decoding (3 audio plugs), the full shebang. Basically, a G400 + Hollywood Plus + DTS receiver.

All for $300 CDN of course.
