Win2k & Marvel G400 = Problemos

Hello again!

I've been having problems with my win2k - Matrox combination. Win2k identifies my card properly, but it will not start after I've installed(error 10) the drivers(5.03).
This also goes for my fancy new USB-Modem, som I'm running win98se right no

EPox, MVP3G5
AMD K6II 400
64 Mb SDRAM(not PC 100)
Marvel G400
Aureal Vortex 1
Adaptec AVE-1505

I've the same problem. I installed the drivers version 4.90 and, well, it *does* work... but when I updated them to the latest version (5.03), win2k said it couldn't start the drivers (error 10), and defaulted to 16-color vga mode. The only way to get back my 1024x768 desktop was to reinstall the old drivers.
Here's the configuration of my PC:

• Asus P2L97
• Celeron 466
• 128 Mb RAM
• Millenium G400 SH
• Sound Blaster AWE64

I have the same problem with win2k and my g400. Error(10) driver could not start!

Do you guys have the latest BIOS update for your motherboards?

Yes. I have upgraded my Abit Bh6 to the latet bios.
