i've seen virtual desktop before across 2 monitors in Windows 95, and across 4 in Linux (running Gnome w/ Enlghtenment), but how do i enable virtual desktop instead of the dual head? the dual head gets rid of the taskbar on the second display. i'm running 2 17" Sony monitors right now, and it would be nice to have the taskbar extend all the way across. it just gives it a better feel. i don't like feeling like there is just empty space, and my second monitor is only displaying a portion of it (i can't really explain it that well...). i noticed in this FAQ article that in Windows 2000, ONLY virtual desktop can be enabled. can i do that in Windows 98? (i.e. make my resolution 2304x768) thanks. i'd be willing to do some registry hacking... i just really want my taskbar to go all the way across! thanks in advance...
