    I got a score of around 2600 3Dmarks, this was with the same drivers as you. Only 64Mb of RAM, K6-2 333 @ 400, and a G400 Max. When I had '98 running :-P

I think you should test at other resolutions. Obviously, at 800*600, your cpu is the limiting factor. the g400 really shines at 1280*1024 IMO.
      just for comparison, I have a celeron 464 w/ a tnt and i get 3800 rmarks.

Damn, that's much better than my measly score. I gotta get a real CPU!

        Athlon, Athlon . . .

          erm... how about an Athlon 600 + G400 and 5750 3dmarks?

I will try someother resolutions. However u have to admit that TNT score is very inflated, I had a TNT also and nvidias drivers fake alot of stuff for scores believe me. My Viper 550 agp an it gave 300 points higher in the 3dmark99 max benchmark than the g400 on the same K6-2 450 128 sdram system, which sounds fishy to me

I noticed the same thing, could be one card is just faster than the other in lower resolutions, it's not impossible.

Not quite up to speed with Greeb and his big Athlon.

Thanks Jedi, that's not bad at all. Surprisingly, yours are the first K6-2 450 scores I've seen. I was wondering how my K6III-450 compared to a K6-2 450 and now I know. I got 3770/7153 just a minute ago. I thought the K6III might be a bit faster, but I didn't think it would be 20% faster. I guess that extra cache really does help. I get almost exactly the same scores as the Celeron at 464 with the TNT. Its not an Athlon, but not bad for a second class processor.

My CPU is not overclocked, but my vanilla G400 is at 118% on MGA Tweak.

I’m hoping to get a Athlon 700 soon, when I get paid for some Website jobs. I’m hoping to O’C it too. Which’ll be nice. . . .

                          P3-550e@733mhz, g400max:

                          7309/11507

I bet I would get better scores if I turned of vsync, as in game1 that meter is pretty much pegged at 85fps.

I wish that pdesk would support common monitors, the Sony 400ps has been out awhile, and does easily support 100hz at 800x600, but pdesk keeps me at 85

                            Neil,
Change it in QuickDesk, the refreash rate that is.
