How to tell if a G400max is a 4x AGP??

Does anyone know how to tel if a G400max is a 4x AGP from its retail box or there are some other ways to tell??! cus i'm planning to get one but i've heard that earier ones are 2x AGP and recent ones are 4x AGP, but how do i tell??!

There will be a 4A in the part number.
