  • Memory Speed vs overclocking???

I was wondering about the G400 OEM models that have 5ns ram instead of 6ns. What overclocking speed does this equate to? I have a board with 6 ns ram and it overclockt to 143/191 mhz. Can someone tell me what I would gain with a 5ns ram card? I am aware that you can't but them specifically with it,
but I know a company that sold my friend a 5ns one and was thinking of trading with him.

I have overclocked my MAX to 184/245. This is probably around the best you could hope for. Others will not do better than 156/210.

Not bad, couple that with a 800mhz+ cpu and...hang on!

I've replaced the stock h/s with a Tennmax BGA (B) f/s/fan but I can't clock (my g400 32 DH vanilla, 6ns) any higher than before (297 @ standard dividers). Could it be worth chopping up the old h/s and thermal-glueing it to the RAM?

        Cheers, Tony.
