  • Mystique220+RR and ATI XPERT98-TV on two Monitors?

Shuffle your PCI cards around, and get the video cards on separate IRQs. I'm guessing rught now they are right nest to each other. Move the PCI card away from the AGP card. If possible, leave that PCI slot empty, or put a card that does not use an IRQ into it.

Mystique220+RR and ATI XPERT98-TV on two Monitors?

    Hello everybody,
yesterday I added a cheap ATI Xpert98 AGP to use as a second monitor in my Win98SE setup.

First I tried to have my Mystique220+RR as the primary card. Mystique and ATI shared the same IRQ (pretty crowded system with no free IRQs). The ATI-board always showed the yellow exclamation mark in the hardware properties. No way to make it work.

Then I switched to AGP first in BIOS, so that the ATI is now the primary card, and BINGO! Works perfectly. The only problem now is that I would prefer to have my Mystique as the primary card. That way I would not have to switch cards in BIOS to be able to capture videos, and I would be able to use the multi-monitor functionality when working on video captures.

Any ideas on how to make this work? Thanks in advance!

    Kind regards,
    Thorsten
