    I own a PII-450 and recenlty put my max on an athlon 500 to test it. There was hardly any comparison between the results.I do not remember scores now but I was impressed with the difference between 50 MHz (of course there is 3dnow which does the trick)

      I thought Quake 3 was optimized for SSE not 3DNow ?
