Recording onto VCR with G400 max

Is my G400 Max ready to just plug into a TV or VCR, without having to use a special type of software? Do I just need to use the TV OUT lead I got with the card?

I want to know before I unplug my VCR and take it into my PC room :0)

Yup, it's just ready to plug into your TV or VCR (TV IN or VIDEO IN only), you just need to get Windows to detect your cable so after you connect the cables go to Control Panel and click on Add New Hardware and let Windows do a search for non Plug&Play devices, it should detect it.
