Help on G400 & FIFA200
I recently 'upgraded' my older OEM G400 16Mb(SGRAM) SH to a boxed G400 32Mb(SGRAM) DH.
I'm running K7M + Athlon 650 + SBLive!.
Following are common settings for both cards:
- AGP2x forced using 'Registry Hacks'.
- PD5.41 was used for both cards.
- AGP Aperture set to 256.
- All monitor resolutions were set to 85Mhz.
- Bus-Mastering enabled.
- IRQ11 was given to both cards.
No other setting was changed, and no new drivers were installed. I had done the routine uninstall, swap the cards, and reinstall thingy. I had even under-clocked my Athlon(which had a 650 core) from 700 to 650 at same 1.6v, and FSB remains at default 100Mhz. DualHead function was disabled.
The ONLY difference is that I swapped the G400s.
My problem is that after the swap, FIFA2000 juz refuses to run properly. It works very well with the old 16Mb.
Graphics will become 'garbage' upon entering play. The resolution for game play was set to 800x600.
