  • Sixth Sense freezes DVD Player

Have any of you folks got the Region 1 DVD Sixth Sense to work with the Matrox / Cinemaster player?

It causes my version to lock-up.

(The same disk works with PowerDVD and WinDVD, so the disc must be O.K).

    Cheers

    Le B.

Probably it's some unnatural force at work.
    Asus A7V, Duron 600@900, 192MB PC133@100, G200, Guillemot MUSE, etc.

This is why I think Matrox should have an update for the DVD Player.

I had the same problem myself last night..

But I changed the Windows desktop to 1024*768 16bit rather than 32bit and it ran fine... The movie ran fine but all the extras/intro was "stuttering" or more like
slow framerate..fast framerate....slow framerate... fast framerate... etc..

Well I upgraded the player with the latest Cinemaster updates from http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downloads/ and it works O.K now.

Alternatively Livius, it could be because I played the Exorcist first

As an aside, it's an excellent movie.
