    Does G400 Max support the USWC BIOS setting?

    Hi,

    I have this setting in the BIOS for my ASUS P3V4X motherboard. Does the G400 MAX support this option being enabled? I want to be sure because a warning states that the system may not boot if set incorrectly.
    Also, what impact on performance does this option impose?

      Yes, G400 (and G200) support USWC mode, as long as the system is stable.
      The result should be a slight perfomance gain. If you want a more detailed explanation, there was a thread not to long ago that explained it well. Just search for USWC...

        The Matrox G400 does indeed support USWC features.

        I enabled the feature @my ASUS K7V, its does improve the performance of the card. Rather marginal gain. If i can comment. Hellz... its come free frm the BIOS...why not try it.
