best MOBO with the G400 DH ???

I want to know what the best MOBO in combination with the G400 and a very good soundcard. Maybe you've read "Pfffffff....". Put i think i'm gonna give up my problem and return it for something els. Thanx for all the help anyway, but i think its better to have a different MOBO for me. Maybe not, oke but i'm try to get a prefect combination between those two from 19/2/2000 and it's 18/4/2000. So that's almost 2 months strubbling with this problem.

Okay, a good MOBO in combination with the Matrox G 400 Dualhead.

I have had no video problems with G400 MAX on ABIT BE6-2, BE6, and Intel SE-440BX

No problem here with Abit bh6 and BF6, but I guess since your board is an Abit, better stay away. Asus is a good alternative as is Soyo board (those based on BX chipset at least, the other with VIA chipset, I don't know and I would recommend you to stay away).

I have an Abit BE6 and although I haven't had any problems with my g400dh directly using this mobo, I have had irq problems because of the hp dma66 controller. Maybe the BE6II has fixed these issues?

Gosh Matt, I didn't know you had a MOBO named after you?

I use a P2B with an ordinary SB 32 PnP ISA with my G400 32Mb DH. But that's no answer to your question

But since I've seen that none of the above said something about a soundcard ....

Any Asus board would do good with an SB Live! I guess, if only you take the latest drivers for the SB Live!
