    ABIT KA7 & G400

    Hi,
    Just got my ABIT KA7 this afternoon. After fight with the BIOS for 2 hours, I finally got everything working. However, there is a thing which bothers me a lot.
    I can no longer get to the Display in Control Panel! After I click on it, nothing! If I keep doing this, the system will eventually hang up. Besides this weird things, my system seems to be working fine.

    I am using the latest Matrox driver and 4.20 AGP driver from VIA.

    Haven't had any problems with mine... Using latest drivers from Matrox. The VIA drivers that were on the Abit disk.

    Did you install the VIA drivers first?

    Have you flashed to the latest (RK) bios for the motherboard?

    I did both of those and have no troubles..

      Thanks for the suggestion.

      The problem is caused by old Voodoo2 driver. After installing of the latest Voodoo2 driver from 3dfx, everything is working fine now.
