The file size is not the same. But the contents are unchanged with the exception of the "install.inf", which also bears the 5/5/00 date stamp. The newer file is approximately 1.2k smaller in size and appears to be nothing more than a "clean up" job. This might have an effect upon the installation. I'll try it out. Installation of the VIA chipset information patch basically hosed my last Win2K install. Maybe this one will work!
