no, drivers are not capable of SMP yet. but it(5.04+) won't crash the system if you do have SMP on.

I wouldn't call it a feature, more a prerequisite for any driver that claims to work with Windows 2000.

We are all holding our breath and turning very blue. Wish this problem would get a bit more pubilicity, maybe Matrox would throw some resources at it.

Well yes i agree too! I want Dual CPU's damnit! And what better card for working on a PC than a G400 DualHead with 17" Monitors... Come on! What good is this 'Proffesional Solution' if i can't use it in a proffesional style machine with a proffesional os..

Huh? I have no problems with SMP and WIN2K with a G400.

I'm using the latest PD drivers (the beta ones that support the new VidTools) with a dual C400 without any trouble. All the previous drivers have worked also.

I use PhotoShop 5.5, Premiere, and 3DStudio Max (all of which are SMP capable programs) without any trouble.

Exactly what problems are you experiencing? I did have trouble with OGL/D3D locking the system with 5.03 drivers on occasion but this seems to be corrected with the new drivers.

                  JHI,

Most of the problems seem to be with random lockups in OpenGL and D3D games. I have a few problems in vmware and a couple of other apps also.
