No AGP when using VIA 4.17

Please help,
When I use VIA 4in1 drivers version 4.17, overall gaming performance is better no doubt...but Dxdiag does not detect AGP!! (in dxdiag display tab on the bottom of the window) and 3dmark2k scores are lower...around 27xx...but when I reinstall everything version 4.20 and PD5.52 Dxdiag detects AGP and 3dmark2k scores are higher...around 289x..but overall gaming performance is slow...

Can anyone please help me get 4in1 version 4.17 to detect AGP?

No way with 4.17.
I got today 4.19 and I will try.
Hope that VIA will release soon a new AGP driver.

I keep you informed about 4.19 performances.

4.19 is the same as 4.20: DirectX AGP enabled but, in my case, Quake 3 doesn't work.


Apart from these bugs, 4.17 is faster in fill rate and 4.20 is faster in texture management.

yea, Q3 doesn't work when I use 4.20...but it does in 4.17...
