DVD out to TV...do I need DVDmax software?

I have a 16mb SH card, and just got a DVD drive. I'd like to be watching movies on the TV. As I see it, my options are pick up the DH add-on module, or a DVD decoder card. Do I have to be running specific software to take advantage of the DH tv out?

But you still need a DVD software player though and the one from Matrox is optimized for the G400 ...

Nope ...

You just need the add-on, configure your card to use DVD Max mode and whenever you playback a DVD it will be shown on your TV.

It even works with MS media player ...
