I was curious anyone know of a site with a list of all the very old Matrox products and when they were released?

Mainly information on the mill 1 release date and does anyone else remeber a card called just MGA or MGA power graphics?

I think MGA just stood for Matrox Graphics Accelerator and not a specific model. If I remeber correctly the model before the Millenium/Mystique series was the Impression which was one of the first 64bit graphics cards.

I bought my good old millenium back at June 96, it was a few monthes after it received PC Magazine's Editor choice beatin No.9 Imagine 128 because it was a lot cheaper. I guess it was released by the beginning of 96. Still have it with the original box.

Thanks everyone. I card I had back in 93. I never thought of it as anything but a mga card for some reason. I guess it could be the impression. Though it does not list anything other then mga or power graphics anywhere on the card. IT had a serial number of only 800. The ramdac a bt chip was about as larger as the video chip itself.

I've seen references to the Matrox MG-104, MG-108, MG-124 and MG-128 "CAD Graphics Controllers." There also appears to have been a "PG" series. In any case, here's a list of pre-Impression/pre-Ultima Matrox boards.

Dimension 3 Ultra 3D Graphics Controller for EISA - Real time 3D object manipulation and rendering within AutoCAD.

MG-104 CAD Graphics Controller - 1024x768x16 display list processing card for accelerating AutoCAD.

MG-104-M CAD Graphics Controller-Microchannel bus AutoCAD
          accelerator with display list processing.

MG-108 CAD Graphics Controller - 1024x768x256 AutoCAD and
          AutoShade display list accelerator.

          MG-108-M CAD Graphics Controller - AutoCAD/AutoShade display
