Ok, I've decided not to hijack that other thread anymore than has happened already.
If the G400 is DiME capable, will running it at 4X AGP with RDRAM give a performance increase over SDRAM where scenes with up to 80MB of textures onscreen are involved?
The only pc we have found that can handle this so far is an SGI 320/540, and they use their (proprietary) main memory for textures.
Any help would be appreciated, cos we want do dump these SGI boxes ASAP (not upgradeable, have to buy everything from SGI = expensive)
