  • AGP 2x lost on ASUS P5A with Matrox G400 max

oops, i lost my agp 2x -- I installed the new powerdesk, bios, video tools - updated WPCUID --everything looks a lovely - then went to the new wpcuid and it says 1x AGP ??
went to PCI list, and says motherboard is AGP 1x and Matrox G400 max is 1x, 2x (actually, it is a newer one so should be 4x) - but where oh where did the motherboard 2x go -- I could swear the older WPCUID said it was at 2x for this Asus 5A (using 1.65 driver) - interesting, tested using madonion 2000 and not much difference - 1701 ----now, i realize no difference is no difference but what happened - went to the registry and checked the right flags are there, using the matrox tweak which says it is 2x enabled, and i think i also used the hack (how do you use the hack???) - so, where or where has 2x gone (maybe it is still there but hiding??)//
