  • odd behavior with Dual-Head in W2K

I've got both monitors working now, however some programs will refuse to open if they had last been opened with Dual-head disabled and maximized, and the dual-head max feature is turned on to keep them from going across both monitors. If I turn the maximize setting off, open all the programs up, and un maximize them, they will then work consistently. Word, IE, and 3DStudio Max all do this, I haven't noticed any others yet

    Elyas,

from your powerdesk tray icon try this...right mouse button > Windows positions > Restore....

    i leave mine on all the time now, i have 2 monitors(..a 21" and a 17" flat panel) and i use the whole area(..2560 x 1024 16 bit) and i don't maximize anything anymore...and actually i like it better than the win98 scheme...so much so that i ripped 98 off this system...yeeeehawwww!!!!!
