OK... here goes...
system specs:
BP6 w/1x C366@500 @2.0v w/ Alpha
128MB Toshiba RAM
15GB 7200 RPM Maxtor HD
G400 32MB OEM
SB16 ISA
3Com 56K Faxmodem ISA
in my attempts to OC, i adjusted the WARP clock and Windows 2000 froze. i never got it back up and running. since then, i cannot install:
Win95c
Win98/SE
Win2000
WinME
I can install
NT4
BeOS
Linux
I need Win9x for gaming. the Win9x/ME freeze during setup after detecting hardware. in Win2000, it freezes after getting to the point where it says "Starting Windows 2000."
I flashed the bios to the mobo and tried installing... i used the default bios, NJ, NJ122, QQ-1, QQ Final, and RU.
I have latest drivers for G400. I have the updated BIOS (1.6). I cleared the CMOS for the mobo and still same shit.
what am i to do? I need a W9x OS to play some games, since in NT, UT, QIII and such do not detect my G400. i am forced to use software... though direct3d does work somewhat better than software... but not to how it was like before i adjusted the WARP clock. oh how loved those days.
Please help!
