I hope for those guys that nVidia starts selling video-cards with deposit by then...
"Okay, I've been using your card for this long now, but I want to go back to my former brand, and on my card it says if returned within 6 months, get $50 dollars back... I want to take you on on that offer for I need it to buy my next videocard !"

Or are these cards really that inexpensive over there?

Well I bought the Geforce2, but let me tell you this: The image quality of the G400 is still unmatched!
I still own a Mellennium II AGP on my other machine for 2D things only 8).
      I also miss the dual-head.
The only thing that the Geforce2 offers ist raw speed and a little more compatibelity - thats all.

      Well, just a small update.

      See yea

Jord, the prices arent real bad here, and the competition between different nVidia based cards helps. It also doesnt hurt that they give alot of them away..

One thing ive noticed with my ProphetII is that windows will get real fuzzy (lines and text) then get better. My MAX NEVER did anything like this. I must say, even on MY shitty monitor, Maxtrox 2d whipes the floor with nVidia.

well ! I have changed a lot but always returned to MATRAOX at end ...I realy LOVE my G400 BABE & with 555 drvers (OK I konowe its for MARVEL but it works great for me) I have apsoluttly no PROBLEMS OGL or D3D...I finished HALF LIFE USS DARKSTAR miss.pack with STANDARD OGL @1024 x768 x32 bit without any problems.

Still I would like to see some nice T&L with MATROX board & I have to say that Im very impressed with GFgts2 performance & banchs but the price is TOOOOOOOOOOO HIIIIIGGGGGHHHH!

Ill wait till MATROX gives their answer to all of that & then I will deside...ofcourse I would always buy a MATROX product even if it is 20% slower than any GFgts2 but offering SUPERB immage quality

so guys I stay with MATROX somekind I LOVE this FORUM & you REAL MATROX fans & having another board in my PC & being on this forum LIKE A REAL MATROX LOVER doesnt sounds right to me ( maybe that sounds stupid but I feal that way )
