  • No sound from Marvel G400 TV Recordings

While recording video from a camcorder or TV the sound plays. But when I play back the same stuff that's been recorded there's no sound. I have the G400 TV coupled with a Sound Blaster Live X-Gamer. Any ideas? I've tried using splitters for the speaker out. One to the speakers one to the cable for the G400 TV. But that doesn't work, or I'm doing it wrong. Neither Matrox tech nor Creative tech has been able to help me. I hope somebody else out there has this setup and knows what to do. Thanks for any help, ___Bibbit

Not sure this will help, as I don't have Marvel experience, but, with an ATi AIW, you have to plug the CDROM sound into the Video card and then go from the Video card to the sound card...

it has to do with the way they capture the port in software, they (ATi) seem to only capture the CD port of the sound card when doing recordings...
I had it in the TV/Aux input of the sound card and the CD connected to the CD-in of the sound card... now I have it with the ATi as the Go-between and all is well...
