Big Bug in W2k 5.10 Driver!!!

Hi all,

Has anyone else found this bug? When you move the cursor over an open Word or Notepad document
the cursor simply disappears and doesn't bother to turn into a text select bar?

This makes it a completely useless driver update! How can you have a driver that leaves you
helpless in a Word or Notepad document?

Same problem here, with IntelliMouse Explorer+IntelliPoint drivers. Cursor disappears when moving over text entry fields and such. Selecting an alternate mouse cursor set (like 'None') seems to fix the problem (don't know for how long, maybe until next reboot).

No problem at all here - using a Logitech MouseMan + PS/2 with the original MS win2k drivers.

Try disabling/enabling HW mouse cursor in the powerdesk options tab.

I already did. If it keeps working until the next boot after doing the mouse cursor set thing I'm okay with it for now. I wouldn't like running w/o a hardware cursor though.

Works fine for me. Also with a Intellimouse explorer.

Odd stuff. Looks like my cursor is here to stay now, even after rebooting. I'm using the same cursor set as always, but applying it again seems to have fixed it.
