yep liked the idea that i could change the refresh back to 100 hz with out a hack, but beta 5.10 no like ewverquest and 5.06 did so 5.10 went bye bye and 5.06 came back.

got to love win 2k and how it handles drivers now if creaTIVE WOULD ONLY LET US HAVE LIVEWARe 3

The 5.10 beta just reboots my system after running for about half an hour (not even using D3D/OGL). Did it twice, put 5.06 back and the reboots are gone.

No problems here with w2k 5.10 at 1280x1024x85Hz on my G400Max and normal usage (both D3D and OGL).

Still won't run all of the helicopter tests of 3Dmark2000 though

John, I think that's a problem with 3D Mark 2000 and not the graphics card drivers. I've tried it with both my G400 Max and TNT 2 Ultra - same result (all tests conducted under Win 2K - naturally)

              Damien -

With my GTS2, the helicopter tests reliably run to completion with D3D Hardware opt selected, but not with Athlon or 3DNow! opts selected in w2k. So I do suspect there may be a problem in 3DMark2000 (or its interaction with w2k).
