I was interested in buying a matrox pc-to-tv converter, the one that come with the G400 if possible. The converter would be used on a Diamond TNT2 Ultra and a Ati Rage 128. Is this possible? i was trying to find one to buy but i found one that said it was for the G200, is this the same one? Thanks for your help.

G400's TV-out is built onto the card. There is no separate module (well, maybe the DualHead module for the SingleHead cards). The only other part is the break-out cable, which will only work on G400.
There is no way a G200 TV-O module is going to fit on a Diamond card.
If you want a video card to do TV-Out, you must buy a card built that way.Core2 Duo E7500 2.93, Asus P5Q Pro Turbo, 4gig 1066 DDR2, 1gig Asus ENGTS250, SB X-Fi Gamer ,WD Caviar Black 1tb, Plextor PX-880SA, Dual Samsung 2494s

The "break-out cable" was what i was reffering to. i saw it mentioned in numerous g400 reviews and thought it was a universal thing. MUST i buy a new card just for tv out??
Cmon there has to be another way.PIII 450

A card needs to have a special chip to handle the TV-Out. It's not at all like a monitor. Matrox does this with a Maven chip (built onto all DualHead G400s, the DH module for SH G400s, and the TV-O for G200s).
Unless the maker of you video card offers a TV-O module for your card specically, it aint gonna happen.Core2 Duo E7500 2.93, Asus P5Q Pro Turbo, 4gig 1066 DDR2, 1gig Asus ENGTS250, SB X-Fi Gamer ,WD Caviar Black 1tb, Plextor PX-880SA, Dual Samsung 2494s

I beleive the cost of such a box would probably be more than just buying a G400. I also don't know off-hand of who would supply this kind of box (or that one even exists for sure)...Core2 Duo E7500 2.93, Asus P5Q Pro Turbo, 4gig 1066 DDR2, 1gig Asus ENGTS250, SB X-Fi Gamer ,WD Caviar Black 1tb, Plextor PX-880SA, Dual Samsung 2494s

All of those VGA-2-TV scanlines converters suck big time !!!
Quality is simply non-existant and I don't know if those would let you adjust the TV out settings (except for maybe lightness, contrast and saturation, but those are also available on your TV) ...
I'd suggest to either trade or sell that TNT a go for a G400.
