I've just installed PD6.0 Beta on my K6-2 based MVP system.

Whoohoo! It's stable! Quake 2 runs on my system for the first time since pd 5.41. I can't say it runs any faster though, DEMO 1 turning in 27fps at 800*600 on the first attempt with sound enabled.

Seems the VIA issue is fixed though??

Does the DVD addon has S/PDIF connector ?
Ok, I'll try PD 6.0 as well...
I guess it should work under WinME...

        bjojorge:

Yeah, All Marvels have S/Pdif output if your software DVD player can handle it. For the module, the players that can are:

        1. The OEM/Zoran (but a very buggy program)
        2. 2 versions of MGI SoftDVDMax (ver 3.5x and up)
        3. Ravisent Cinemaster2000.

If you've got the module, be sure to uninstall it's software along with everything else before trying the betas, the reinstall the OEM, then install any of the other software players "over the top."
