    How do I get Open GL games to work on G400max?

    I nstalled Driver last night but it would not run. It came up with a message saying that no 3D devices were found and that I should install an open GL or 3D3 device.
    I am using the 6.00 beta drivers for the card.
    do I have to install something else or is there a setting somewhere I have missed?

      Make sure you have an IRQ assigned to the G400 in your mobo BIOS, and that your desktop is set at 16bit or 32bit color.

        I read somewhere that you have to get the patch for the game Driver (pssst Werdna, it was the game Driver ), for the G400 and other videocards to be recognized.

        I would point you to the search option in Gaming, but errrm, don't Too much other drivers popping up there

        Check the Game manufacterers homepage for a patch for the game, plus follow Kruzin's advice!

          Thanks guys

          Yep, I was in 24bit colour - switched to 32bit and it works.
          I found the patch for Driver on Matrox's site.
