    Hi DataOrb!

I sure could stretch them! Just send the to gedia@otenet.gr (not hotmail because I don't want to be restricted by the inbox size..). I will try Satori as well (another vector image processing program) to see if it does a better job...

The problem is I am not sure whether Photodraw can read .psd files... I would tell you to send it as an encapsulated postscript for better quality but Photodraw for some reason messes up with brightness. Anyway send it any format you want I will find a way to convert it somehow :-).

    Cya!

Well I'm going my hols in about 10 hours so I hope the murc1b image will be enough to keep you's happy for now! I'll be back in August to see how this thread went!

And maybe my downloads of the Matrox TIFFs will work next time too! Saves having to enlarge a 73x78 GIF file for that 'Powered by Matrox' in the background! It isn't that bad of a quality though.

If you go to this 'page' you'll see all the versions I've got up so far and I'll try and get some of the bitmaps up and the 1600 JPEG.

I'll check the forums again in a few hours so if there's any requests I'll try to get those ones up first.

      Paul.

Edit: Link....removed! Again, let me know (and the holiday was good btw )

            Hi,

really nice looking pics, but I myself do not like wery colorfull bright backgrounds, it makes the desktop look really messy.
Is it possible for you to make them darker, still visible. Like the second pic, or was it the third one? Anyway, they are still good looking...

I like the minimalist one: http://www.angelfire.com/il/dnet/matrox3.html

Lets you focus on your icons, not pretty pictures.

Yup, that's the one I'm using...

Dataorb: As a perfectionist... The "Matrox G400 Max" text on the chip is in the wrong angle! It looks kinda "abnormal".

Why not make a wallpaper that would be in 2 parts for dualhead users. It would be great if the wallpaper would continue to the next monitor (same res.) instead of having the same wallpaper on both monitors.. Unfortunatelly I don't believe it's possible in win98...

Pace & DataOrb - thank you for your pictures. I like especially Paces "MURC-theme". It will stay on my desktop for a looong time.

                  Thanx guys

                    Hi guys,

Thanks for the praise! I'm on holiday in Las Vegas and Phoenix at the moment (in a free net booth in Arizona Mills). I'll be back home at the end of the month so any requests will be fulfilled to the best of my ability (I hope )

And I'll be redesigning my websites then as well so you'll be able to browse the stuff more easily. Check out my Portal site and my new 'Pace3000 Arena' site aimed at my own LAN games I host as well as general gaming/LAN and MURC stuff when I get back!

                    Paul.
