G400max + Asus A7V and AMD Duron, any experience ??

Hello Coolgies !
I would ask about any experience with this configuration:
AMD Duron X-Mhz
Asus A7V ATX
and G400max
?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ??
I have an old Asus P5a rev. 1.00 (about 1,5 years old) with a K6-III 450mhz + G400max
with Tekram DC-390 SCSI controller (plexwriter+ultraplex) and this configuration runs like hell, it's quite unstable, and slow. I think it's the MoBo, whitch is too old rev. and there is also an error when i flash my BIOS!When i benchmark my system against my friends, which is an K6-2 300mhz + G400 SH 16mb his system gives a bit higher test-results.
and now i said: "I want a system run's stable and fast" and i want to buy a Duron system with an Asus MoBo!
