I think the matrox win2K drivers version 5.10 may become buggy when installed on an Asus CUSl2 815e mainboard. My win2K crashes at least 3 or more times a day. Giving such errors as 0x1E(exception not handled)
0x0A,
0x1A(memory management)
Driver_irql_not_less_or_equal.
This is a fresh install of win2K second time.
Had to reinstall after win2K crashed while
I was uninstalling the service pack1 and
it became impossible to get back into win2k.
So I had to reinstall. I think the hardware
is fine, I am using the best quality memory
mushkin HSDRAM modules. Using ACPI of course
as well. My BX was rock solid with the same
hardware, so either the drivers have issues or intel's chipset drivers are buggy or
asus's BIOS is buggy. If anyone else has
these kinds of problems using windows 2K
let me know, and if there are any ways to
fix it
