Hi,
A quick version before I have to leave for a couple of days. I hope this
fixes the last of the bugs that were introduced between 0.8 and 1.0.
Other changes are:
. TEXTMODE supports XRESxYRES style argument.
. Added textmode testing to GMODE.
. Textmodes can now be switched between 8 and 16 line fonts.
. Bug fixes for programs that query non-existing mode numbers.
(Includes Magic Engine and PictView)
. Textmodes with a horizontal resolution of less than 80 disabled for
now.
Textmode 200x60 with a 16 line font looks rather nice
Regarding the Mystique problem; I've found out it's related to the
TV-out. Same thing happens when you use a G400 with a TV-out enabled
BIOS. Working on that one...
Not much left to do for 1.0 really. Fix the TV-out BIOS problem, add 4
bit mode testing and debug 4 bit modes some more, write some help for
GMODE and add some keyboard control and add some VGA tweaking for
TEXTMODE so you can set 80xYY modes without the BIOS supporting it.
Proper TV-out will have to wait, it's too much work right now and it's
long overdue.

That's the last message I received from him. "a couple of days" has been a couple of months. I got worried couple of weeks ago and sent email to him. No reply. Now his webpage is down. Could someone tell me what's happening?
