My IP is static (212.187.63.14), I have nothing to do with those other hack-attempts. Do not get paranoid.

Well, open up your firewall then and let us rummage around on your harddrive, for I for one don't believe your statement:
    I destroyed all passwords.

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum STILL is NOT secure. There is a possibility other people are messing with your accounts right now. I do not take any responsibility for that.

Yes you do... You showed people how to do these things, and GA hasn't updated the UBB yet, as you've noticed. So it would be time for you to tell GA what they should do to correct this problem.

If you don't, you will be fully responsible and have police knocking in your door soon, or me and some of my friends here knock on some other of your body parts... Yes, that is a threat !!

Jord, pissed off by now !!

Yes the forums are still open because I'm waiting on GA to do something about it. Maybe someone else has got in but who brought the security hole to their attention? So who is to thank for that? I'd appreciate it if you would just go away and not come back to these forums, you have no interest here.

What is getting on my nerves about Un's attitude is that forum "security" means something that we have to worry about.

My position is that these forums, while important to us, are not important in the larger scheme of things, and since there's no sensitive data held here, I see no reason for us to have some gigantic security installation as if there was.

Basically, I think we're far too little to hack, and the fact that Un did hack us says more about him--that he has nothing better to do, and that he can't get into anywhere that's actually important--than it does about our security.

This does piss me off, make no mistake. But what really pisses me off is Un trying to act like this makes him a big deal, which even I (ignorant as I am) know it does not!

Personally, I donn't care if this BB is secure. I won't like it if it is shut down. That's akin to vandalism. What you gonna do? Worry about having this site up 24/7? I hope no one's livelyhood or happiness is dependent on having this BB up 24/7. Not a good bet.

"But what really pisses me off is Un trying to act like this makes him a big deal,..."

That's because you are giving him the attention. You and Jordan have been yappng away about UN on all the forums since the weekend.

Shut up already and get on with your life. Ant will take care of the rest.

Yeah, why make such a big deal about this. You guys are pusing it too much. He hacked it to test, told you guys so you may fix it. Why the hell are you so paranoid... Afraid someone will use your password, post with you names that you no longer love each others? Gee, how depressing!!!

I think that people are way too paranoid about viruses and hackers, thanks to media and authorities. Many people seem to think that viruses are really bad and spread from disk to another, just because those disks are in the same door. Same seems to apply to hackers. People think that all hackers are the ultimate evil.

It's not so. I think that you should first apologize him and then THANK him for telling about this..

And what come to this forum, it really should be moved somewhere else. Thanks to those damn ads this board is unbrowsable with Opera. Ads seem to appear to random places, even inside other HTML-tags.

I am sure that someone will host it for free, or little price.

Please reply by ICQ, or email if you have something to say to me..

Right you are Tronic. People will panic when they hear idiot's talking about something they have no idea what they are talking about.

To prove my point that knowing an IP adress means nothing, I was 4.3.177.234 about 4 hours ago.

                          Who am I?

PS: For the paranoid people who don't want their ip adressesseseses to be known, then don't send out email because your email headers hold more info about you than a lousy ip address.

PS: I'm not talking about UN's ethics here.

                          Ciao

He is a script-kiddie. Which basically means he ran someone else's hacking script. He doesn't know how to do it himself.
