I saw this on Anand Techs web page

Especially with new products from 3dfx, ATI and Matrox on the way, at least one of which will be released in the very near future, $500 spent now (or when the GeForce2 Ultra is actually available in 30 – 45 days) may earn you a self-inflicted kick in the pants later on if any of the aforementioned companies can execute properly and deliver a superior product for much less.

Please be it the G800!!!! Only other thing I think i could be is a Raedon MAXX with Dual chips. I don't think the Voodoo6 will be worth it with its high price tag like the GeFarce 256 GTS ultra. Other interesting tid bit is that they stated that the NV20 won't be out till Spring 2001! Interesting, Now its ATI or Matrox turn to come out with a product to kick Nividias Ass!

              Scott

If G800 is coming out, its the fastest card to be, exactly the same as with the G400 at the start, unfortunately lasts it with Matrox always so for a long time to which new comes however not without reason is the G400 max [ my card ] still best which one can have

Don't think so, the lad was (is) from Canada (armenian of origin). Last thing I remember is that he was asking about the Asus P3V4X a few months ago.

Edit: What we have here is just a poor substitute
