Wierd MGATweak Results

That's normal. The G400 simply runs the fastest with the default clock multipliers. Always check the real speed with a benchmark, like you did.

The default MAX PLL is 300, I think you're confusing it with the RAMDAC limit.

The G400 max to overclock does not bring nothing at all. I have all possible tried, only which really predivide am provided it the Refreshtimes of the RAM to modify, then one takes again some out.

My G400 MAX overclocks rather well. To get the SYSPLL to work right over 300, you have to uncheck "Auto" load balance adjusting. I have mine running stable at an 11% overclock (166/222). I've tried a higher SYSPLL and different dividers to get 175/220, but that doesn't work. Thats strange, because the core works fine at 175 when I lower the SYSPLL and change the dividers.

Wierd MGATweak Results

Either I've missed something essential, or I'm just plain dumb, but I can't get this to add up:

Using MGATweak on my G400Max I've managed to boost some results by tweaking the sdram params and set the Fo = 310mhz (x2, x1.5, x2) leaving me with GC = 155mhz, MC = 207mhz. Also, DCC is disabled.

I've noticed that my memory starts giving up somewhere above 212 mhz, so I thought: Let's change some multipliers!

.. and that's what i did: Fo = 512 (x3, x2.5, x3) leaving me with GC = 173mhz, MC = 207mhz.

Still no corruption, all fine and all that, BUT: With the GC now 18mhz faster, the results DROPS about 150 3dmarks.

WTF?

One other thing i'd like to know is what the G400MAX's default values are. The first time i started MGATweak it said system pll = 300mhz, but if i'm not all that wrong, the MAX's are at 360?
