What do you expect of the Matrox G800 (plus)?

Will it by far strike the performance of the G400 max or must run the 3dMark 2000 be content around the performance to see.
Can play then also UT with 150 FPS or am it with D3D then nevertheless only 80-100.....

I expect 3 things:
1) Same video quality as ever.
2) Each game I play run at 50 FPS at the res of 1280*1024*32. No need for more FPS.
3) Good Drivers.

Don't expect UT performance in D3D to be dramatically improved with ANY card that can't run it in Glide mode. The game is severely CPU limited. For an example- my G400 was only around 10FPS slower on average then my newer Elsa Gladiac, with all the same settings and a resolution of 800x600.

On the other hand, a stronger card WILL allow you to run higher resolutions without UT's framerates dropping significantly. This is because (take the G400 again, for instance), at 1024x768x32, many cards start to be fill rate limited with UT. The newer cards, with a higher fill-rate, remain CPU-bound at that resolution, and are pretty close to it all the way to 1600x1200. (My GeForce2 only loses around 15fps in 1600x1200 vs. 800x600 resolutions- all attributable to a higher fillrate and faster memory)
