  • Dual head messed up!

    I have a problem when running in dual head mode. After a short!!! peroid of time if I lets say maximizes a window or scrolls down, the screen just gets messed up, and the computer still works fine but the display is unreadable. It sometimes also happens in single head mode.
    Is it driver related, or is my video memory just screwed?

    Might be your IRQs are screwed, or anything in your computer is not working right either. Mind giving us some more info, like IRQs, system specs, DirectX version, which OS you use?

      I'm running Win ME on my K7 Pro with an Athlon 650. The video board is alone on IRQ 11. Direct x that ships with WIN Me. I had same problems with win 98se. I'm running the Beta 6.01 drivers.

        Could we have a full list or irq's we like looking at them you know.

          maybe force AGP 1x mode? I know for my card i have to or else i'll get a garbled screen unpredictably... lines going thru screen and such.... and it's not the mobo, tried several mobos now

            Jesta784 you are right that's exactly what I get. The weird thing is that it never happens during games, but mostly when running Outlook Express or I Explorer.
            I haven't tried the agp 1x setting. but I will.
