No Macrovision At All

I'm using a G400 with S Video out into a JVC 7600 S-VCR, no problems recording DVD's with any of the software players, is this normal?

Using Win2000 5.10 drivers and PowerDVD 2.5,
G400 Svideo into front panel Svideo on JVC 7600 SVHS VCR, plays and records fine.

I thought I read something about it, but can't seem to find it anymore.

What I found during my dig was a note on how to disable macrovision on NVidia cards that use the Cinemaster engine ...

Dunno if that could also work with G400, but it could be worth trying it.

does PowerDVD only output to S-video? I have had a lot of trouble getting it to use the DVDMax output. Also when i got it to go out thru the Composite it wasnt the right size.

PowerDVD 2.5 / Win2000 = no macrovision
PowerDVD 2.5 / Win98 = macrovision
