  • Rainbow Runner, how to brighten up?

When Im using the TV Tuner function of the Rainbow Runner on my Windows 2000 the tv seems real dark compared to my background etc....Is there a way to brighten up the TV overlay? I know NVIDIA has an overlay brighten/contrast option...Does matrox have one for this? The same problem I have for DVD playback as well...Thankx for any advice

In your display properties/advanced/tvoutput/advanced, there are controls for brightness and contrast. Try those.
Greebe's juiced up Athlon @750 on an MSI Irongate Based M/B Marvel G200 TV with HW/DVD Daughtercard,
CDBurner, Creative DVD, two big WD Hdds, Outboard 56K modem
Parallel Port Scanner, Creative S/B AWE 64 (ISA), and a new Logitech WebCam (My first USB device)

Unfortunately I dont have a TV Output tab...Again im using Windows 2000....As well im not using TV output...This is just an overlay control...Many video cards provide overlay control brightness/contrast...And I even believe matrox might with the Win98 drivers?

It's there, just dig through the PC-VCR properties and you will find it. The TV out controls are there too, in the display properties, under the DualHead tab.
