Few G800 questions...

I know there isn't a whole lot of information available on these things right now but I have a few questions. First of all does anyone know if there will be a 64MB version of this card? Secondly any ideas on how much this card will cost? I do relize that there isn't much info out yet so I may not get any answers . Thanks for any feedback!

What's a G800?
Matrox have not announced any card by that name, much less specs, availabilty, options, or costs.

A G800 is an imaginary card that "G"enerates "800" threads of pointless speculation.
Something will be announced by Matrox soon cocokrisp, but not 'till they're about to release it to the public. BetaBoys(and Girls) in this forum can't tell us anything because of their NDAs. But you can tell from the underlying tone of excitement(look closely) in their posts disavowing any knowledge of the G800, Matrox is promising something big.

Been reading all about the speculation on the G800 here and waiting with baited breath in the hopes of a release from Matrox. I myself, along with at least one of my friends, have committed myself to buying the next generation of Matrox card - my Mystique 220 got me hooked, and now my G400 has won me for life.

Anyway, I read in that HUGE thread from a few weeks back that someone mentioned Sept 11... well, that date has been stuck in the back of my head since and it is now Sept 11 here, but I have to sit and wait for America and Canada to catch up before I cross my fingers and hold my breath.

The funny thing is that I must have been subconsciously waiting for today as well, because I had a dream last night that I had my hands on what a Matrox rep told me was a G800. Could it be a sign? :-)

even if you had your hands on a G800 a Matrox rep would refuse to acknowledge it exists, so it must have been a dream. We'll see if they actually do announce something today, but I'm not going to hold my breath... baited or otherwise. (I caught a large mouth bass with baited breath once)
