  • G200 AGP Bus speed?

What is the highest you coudl get this card. Im trying to my overclock my celery a little bit more on my BX to 124 (83 AGP). I'm having unstabilty and I'm trying to figure out what it is? I've heard G400 is a good o'ced bus handler but what about the G200?

The G200 was even better. Mine's running agp@103mHz agp1x (no proformance loss

The G200 should be fine. To test though, set your FSB back to 100 and set your AGP/FSB ratio to 1/1. If you still have issues, then set your agp to 1x (regestry hack) and try again.

I would be surprissed if any 66Mhz CPU will run at 124 though. Getting some 100Mhz ones to play nice at 124 can even be hard.

I've never heard of a celery getting up to a 124MHz FSB. I would suspect the CPU can't quite take it. That is nearly 2x the spec'd speed for a little ol celery.

I had great success oc'ing the celery 300A to a 100MHz FSB at normal voltage. I recently got a fcpga celery 566, but it is not stable at 100MHz FSB even at 1.7V (the max my mobo will allow for it), so I had to drop it down to an 83MHz FSB (the next bump down).

try all the above especially the 1:1 @100Mhz FSB to make sure it's a Video and not a CPU problem...

Also, make sure you use the Reg. hack that sets the AGP at 1x... Your problem maybe it's trying to boot at 2x...

I had ever owned two Celeron 300A which can run at 124 MHz FSB with 2.0 voltage on P3B-F. This type of Celeron is about 10% of all 300A in general.

However, my SMP MB doesn't provide such FSB with PCI divider by 4. Therefore, I have exchanged them by one PII-300(SL2W8) from my friend. PII does a better job than Celeron on SMP and W2K configuration.
