I have questions about g400 max bios...

The latest version is 1.6, I think - at least this is what I have installed.
And the number after the "-" apparently is the number of BIOS reflashes, 22 in your case.

P.S.: The best/safest way to flash is using a DOS boot-disk with the necessary files on it.
You can also try ubioswin, if you are brave ...

there's an echo in here! I thought ME dispensed with dos support making dos flash of bios impossible.

Just use a Win98 boot disk.
